Cressida Cowell Class!
This is home to a brilliant Year 3 class, with Mrs McGowan to lead our way. We also receive amazing support from Mrs Sedgewick and Mrs Henson during our busy week.

P.E.
P.E. for the Summer term 2 will be as follows:
Indoor - Wednesdays
Outdoor - Fridays
P.E. kit know how
Please make sure your children are dressed in their P.E. kits when they come to school and that their name is in all parts of their kit.
The kit this year should be:
Plain red t-shirt (with or without school logo)
Plain black zip jacket
Pair of black or navy shorts and joggers
White or black trainers
Homework
Each week one of the following activities will be set online:
MyMaths, Spag.com or TTRockStars.
Each activity will be ready for children to complete by the following week.

Home Reading
It is really important to continue to support your child's reading skills by listening to them read and explain what is happening in the story. Now they are better at reading the words, the aim is to improve their understanding and inference skills.
When your child reads to an adult 3 times each week at home and you have signed their planner, they will be awarded a merit that will contribute towards them achieving their merit certificates.
Spellings
A list of 10 spellings will be given each week, which follow a particular spelling rule, and these will be tested on Friday of the following week.
You will be able to log on to SpellShed and practise spellings there too.

Each week, a child from our class will be recognised for REACHing high through their work and behaviour around the school.
