Friday 18th February
The final week is here before we break up and we've been wrapping up our units for this term. This has included finding out about the internet and the world wide web in ICT and interpreting charts of data in Maths. We have been finding out about Spanish words for family members and our pets, being amazed that we could guess some because of how similar the words were to English already. Keeping with the international topic, we have been comparing different European countries to make Top Trump Cards of their geographical features.
A Huge well done to Maximus this week for gaining our REACH certificate. Well done!
Homework for the half term break = keep reading to your adults to keep up the good habit.
Hope you can visit Ilkeston Market place 5pm on 12th February to see the Magical Lantern procession.

It has been a fun week this week with Mental Health activities and the performance of our long awaited Class Assembly. We dressed up for the "Dress to Express" day and have been carrying out a whole host of activities to boost our Mental Health such as giving compliments, practising breathing techniques and catching up with our friends through a good chat.
It was fabulous to see our parents on Thursday especially to watch our Assembly and to see all the amazing things we've been doing in Year, from DT to Science and PE to PSCHE. I know the class have made many people incredibly proud and deserved their moment in the lime-light.
