If it is necessary for your child to learn from home due to long term illness, suspension or any other valid reason where the child is capable of completing school work but unable to attend school, the school will provide learning through the class pages. This may include worksheets and external links to learning. You and your child will be contacted on their first day of absence to discuss their access to remote learning needs. It may be possible for the school to provide equipment to access online learning. We will be able to print any work packs necessary for your child on request.
You and your child will be contacted throughout their absence at regular intervals to determine how they are progressing with the work and offer any support.
For individual children it will not be possible for the class teacher to provide live remote or recorded teaching.
In any instance where the whole class or majority of the class is absent then live teaching and recorded teaching would be made available.
