Children can wear a plain black sports jacket/ zip-up jacket and plain black or navy shorts/joggers.  Now we are in the colder winter months, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately with layers.

Summer 2 learning-

  • Science- Electricity
  • RE- Why do some people think that life is a journey and what significant experiences mark this?
  • PSCHE- Being Safe
  • DT- Electrical systems
  • PE- Athletics and Rounders

Every Friday the children will be set one of the following homework tasks online;

  • My Maths
  • Spag.com
  •  TT Rockstars

Each activity will be set for the children to complete by the following Friday. Alongside these tasks, we ask that children read to an adult at least 3 times a week. Reading can be recorded in your child's planner and once signed, children can be awarded a merit.

This term we have our Year 4 Times table testing.

Each week children will be given spelling lists of 10 spellings, following a set rule. These spellings will be stuck into your child's school diaries/planners to learn by the following week. Spelling Shed can be a useful way for the children to learn their spellings. This can be accessed using their Spelling Shed account. If you ever miss when the spelling list has been handed out in class, then please feel free to check back here as the lists will be added from September.
