How have we reached the summer term already? After a fantastic Easter break, we’re excited to get back into learning.
In English, we’ll begin with some post-teaching sessions to refine and strengthen the Year 5 skills developed so far this year. Following this, we’ll move into a knowledge block focused on biographies, where pupils will learn about Anne Frank, Henry VIII, and a range of other notable (and sometimes notorious) figures from history.
In science, pupils will be exploring materials and their properties—always a popular topic. They’ll investigate magnetism, insulation and conductivity, as well as how materials behave when dissolving or separating.
