As we have begun October, the class have enjoyed exploring what hunter-gatherers were and what foods they would have eaten. They also chose an area of the school buildings this week, which they are going to draw and shade in Art. In science, the class successfully created their own classification keys! A huge well done to Hollie, who was our REACH certificate winner today! Next week, the candidates for school parliament will be campaigning in the classroom ready for our school election day on Friday. Good luck everyone! We also have our harvest assemblies with the collection for local Food banks in the hall on Thursday.

Friday 6th September
Welcome to our class blog. It was excellent to see everyone today in Constellation Class for their first day in Year 4! The class demonstrated brilliant respect and positive learning behaviours during the day and considered what they want their classroom to be like during the year. Everyone set their new star reader level, bringing home their reading books and diaries for the weekend. If you can please begin reading 3 times at home to gain a merit each week. We will begin setting homework and spellings from next Friday. I look forward to seeing everyone next week.
