Friday updates

Happy Friday everyone,

We hope you are all keeping safe and well.

We are very nearly at the end of the strangest term and I would like to thank everyone for their support and dedication to keeping our community a positive and caring one.

Next week I will update you with the plans we have in place for September for the safe welcoming back of all our children. We can't wait! These plans should not be too restrictive for you as parents but will involve some changes to drop off and pick up times. We hope that with the advance warning that this will not be too much of a problem.

As mentioned we have created some challenge booklets for the children for over the summer. These are completely optional. We are happy to print these out if requested. Please let us know by Monday via your child's current teacher and we will get them ready for you to collect.

We are currently updating our Who's who page and our school prospectus.

I thought therefore it would be a good idea to just outline the senior staffing structure for your information.

Mrs Houseman    Head teacher, safeguarding lead.

Mrs Tomlinson    Assistant Headteacher, Deputy safeguarding lead.

Miss Aldis           Lead teacher, Behaviour lead, year 5 and 6 lead.

Miss Martin         THRIVE lead, SENDCo, Deputy safeguarding lead.

Mrs Norton         EYFS Lead

Mrs Robinson      Year 1 and 2 Lead

Mrs Cholerton     Year 3 and 4 Lead

A huge thank you to The long Eaton Rugby Club who delivered a stash of pizzas for the staff on Wednesday- they were very well received -thanks also to the Sumpter family for being the pizza delivery service!

The REACH assembly is up under Mrs Houseman's updates.

Miss Martin has put some summer THRIVE activities in the THRIVE section on the website to support your child's well being over the summer. Please take a look at these as they can be really useful in peculiar times such as these.

Have a lovely sunny weekend all.
