Hello to you all,
I hope you have had a lovely weekend, even though the sun has disappeared! I decided to put my wellies and rain mac on and embrace the rain! It was surprisingly delightful although, I did need a cup of tea as soon as I returned!
What a fantastic start to our new topic ‘Oh the Places You’ll go’. I have loved receiving all the ‘Dear Zoo’ story maps and hearing the children retelling their stories in confidence and with lots of expression! Well done France class!
Thank you to all the parents that have completed the phonics assessments! This really helps inform our gaps in learning and next steps with phonics. I do apologise if there were some difficulties with uploading the videos but if so, please just send the photos of the assessment and this will help greatly. If you didn’t get chance last week or it is unfinished, please could I ask for this to be completed this week. All the planning and resources are on last week’s home learning page
Also, thank you to all for joining in our ‘Goodbye zoom session to Rory’. I know it meant a lot to him and his family and I think it was lovely for the children to have a chance to say goodbye.
Our next Zoom is scheduled for the same time on Tuesday at 10.15am and all details will be again on Class Dojo. I love seeing all France class together and it is a lovely chance for the children to see each other and share moments to each other
Also, a BIG congratulations is needed for Miss Charlotte nominated by myself and Miss Alicia nominated by Miss Bestwick, Miss Haywood and Miss Nadin for being our REACH stars in our online school assembly.
Charlotte has consistently worked really hard at home and applying herself daily to all of her learning in a positive approach. Her phonics is WOWing me daily!
Alicia has returned to the Keyworker group with a continuous smile and all the teachers have said what a delight she has been to have
You have both made me super proud and it just shows what a fantastic bunch of children we have in France class! I wonder who is going to be our next REACH star?
I wish you all a fantastic week with home learning and I am looking to receiving all the super learning.
Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing France class again on Tuesday in our Zoom session.
Kind regards, Miss Hutchinson.
