Welcome to a new week. I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend with your children. We have finally had a glimpse of sunshine, which has been lovely after a rainy week.
It was fantastic to see lots of Team GB's little faces last week in our class bubbles. All children came back happy on the Monday and despite some changes to routine and provision they took this into their stride. Well done children. It was a very enjoyable week for both children and teachers.
It has been lovely to see updates from our home learning families this week too. Thank you for your continued support and baring with me whilst also teaching in school. It has been somewhat of a juggling act! As Mrs Houseman's update on Friday mentioned, we do have spaces in the GB bubbles if you happen to change your mind. Just let me know and we can make arrangements for the week commencing 22/6/20 when our class bubbles are back in school.
Finally, I would like to draw your attention to the 'note to parents' regarding phonics that can be found at the beginning of our planning for this week. Again, any questions feel free to send them across.
I hope you have a fantastic week of home learning. To reiterate Mrs Houseman's update, this is a critical time of year, whereby we prepare children for that next stage in their learning journey. Please do continue to engage with our home learning. This will put your child in a better position when they move to year 1.
Kindest Regards,
Mrs L. Robinson.
