Hello to all,
I hope you have had a lovely weekend, enjoying the beautiful sunshine!
Can you believe we are nearly coming to the end of the reception year! I certainly can't! What a very strange year it has been!
You should have received a text last week informing you that France class's new teacher in year 1 is Miss Nadin. To reassure you, all class information will be communicated with Miss Nadin for a smooth transition. Further transition details will be communicated later in the week.
This week we are focusing on the transition to year 1- talking about what it will be like, asking any questions and discussing any worries the children may have. We feel that the final part of this academic year in our bubbles has better prepared the children for the next steps in their learning journey, especially as they have spent so much time in the year 1 environments too. The children have shown incredible resilience to change which has been extremely rewarding to see. Well done Team France!
Our bubbles this week are in the Key Stage 1 building again. Therefore, drop off will be at the other gate, behind the Y4 and Y5 buildings. For pick-up, please could you come to the playground and wait outside the KS1 building again. Thank you in advance.
Also this week, on Friday at 11:15am, will be our final, end of year zoom celebration. I will post further information on Dojo this week :)
A BIG congratulations is needed for Mr Frankie for being our REACH star in our online school assembly. Frankie has returned to school with a positive, hardworking attitude and consistently aimed high in all of his learning. Everyday when I see Frankie, he greets me with a good morning and a big smile which is just lovely :) Well done Frankie. We are very proud of you :) I wonder who is going to be our next REACH star for our final full week?
I am very much looking forward to seeing all our lovely France class at 9am at the gate near the Year 5 classrooms.
Many thanks,
Miss Hutchinson.
