PE Daily Activity

This week's Derbyshire School Games daily activities are themed around Rugby.

Monday

Maths - This week in Maths we are revising Multiplication methods. Today, we are looking at the grid method. Take a look at the Powerpoint before completing the multiplication questions using grid method.

 

English - Complete the 1, 2 or 3 star reading comprehension about British mammals.

 

RE - Monday to Wednesday afternoon has sessions focused on RE. Follow the link to complete today's lesson.

Tuesday

Maths - Today, we are looking at short/compact multiplication. Take a look at the Powerpoint and then complete the questions.

Maths - Today, we are looking at long/expanded multiplication. Watch my teaching video first, which goes through some different examples. Then also take a look at the Powerpoint before completing the questions. Once completed, there is an extension sheet to try. 

 

English - Complete one of the handwriting sheets, making sure you use your best cursive handwriting!

 

RE - Follow today's link to complete the lesson.

Thursday

Remember our Zoom meeting at 10:15am. Bring along some paper and a pencil.

 

English - Choose a relaxing and comfy spot to do some reading. Then pick one of the Audible stories to listen to. 

Friday

English - After reading yesterday, complete a book review using the template to support.

 

Art - Create a bookmark using the templates or making your own from scratch.

Year 4 Spellings

For your spellings this week, take a look back at all of the Year 4 Statutory words we have been learning.

At the beginning of the week you might want to see how many of the words you can remember to spell. Then focus on the ones you are finding more tricky throughout the week.
