WALT: Plan the WHO and WHERE paragrpahs of a narrative.
This week we are beginning to plan a narrative/story for what Edwin does when he travels into the Norman Camp.
Today's activity is to begin a story map with WHO and WHERE. Around the pictures of the story map add vocabulary to describe the character and setting.
WHO = Edwin
WHERE = Edwin travels into the Norman camp. How does he successfully get into the camp? What could he do? What is the camp like?
History
WALT: Use a range of sources to identify the difference between them and discuss the reliability of each.
After looking at The Battle of Hastings, today we are going to look at the death of King Harold II. Different sources say different things about his death. Take a look at the 4 sources of evidence and complete the table about them and decide how reliable they are (1 = not reliable 5 = very reliable). Once you have completed the table, write a sentence explaining how you think Harold died and why.
