This page showcases the outstanding efforts and achievements of all the children in Elphinstone Class. Each week I will choose one (or two) superstars who have stood out above the rest. This person will be someone who demonstrates and encompasses all of our Dovedale REACH values; respect, enjoyment, achievement, challenge and health.
Keep your eyes peeled on this page to see who our worthy winners will be! Remember - you are all amazing and capable of both dreaming and achieving well!
4th March - No REACH assembly.
11th March - All of Elphinstone class for being resilient and pushing through any challenges they face together. Great team spirit - team work makes the dream work!
18th March - Dominic. Establishing a newfound positive 'I can do it' attitude and proving he is unstoppable! Dominic is jumping over any hurdles or obstacles in his way and showing that hard work reaps success.
24th March - Xavier. An outstanding achievement in reading. Working hard to increase his reading age by 2 and a half years! Xavier has also scored full marks on all of his quizzes, demonstrating he has excellent accuracy in his comprehension skills.
31st March - Eneesha. A shining example of someone who follows the rules all of the time without wanting credit or recognition. Her behaviour reflects the output of her work too, achieving outstanding scores in her celebration week pieces.
8th April - Willow. Perseverance and sheer grit are two words that come to mind when we sum up Willow. Nothing is too much ask and nothing is too much to defeat her. She digs deep, pushes through and proves that with practice, you'll always get there in the end!
