Each week, usually on a Friday, you will find an update about our weeks learning and adventures! Within this class blog I will summarise what we have been up to in our lessons and also remind you of any useful information, whether this be linked to homework or dates. Keep your eyes peeled for all of the weird and wonderful things that we have been up to!
Friday 5th March 2021:
We have finally made it!
Tomorrow is your LAST day of home learning and we couldn’t be any prouder of you. As we have said weekly, you have tackled this latest lockdown with determination, and you have persevered when things were tough. If you all take one thing from this lockdown let it be that when you believe in yourself anything is possible as even the darkest of days didn’t stop you! The Y3 team have noticed how much more positive, stronger, and more resilient you have all become from this process.
Parents – thank you! You have been a dream to work alongside and support during this process. Between us we have shared tantrums, we have laughed, I am sure we have all also been on the verge of tears at times but here we are ready to say goodbye to the end of this home learning! You have been nothing short of incredible and made our job that little bit easier 😊 I think you have definitely earned a rest and possibly a few glasses of wine! As of Monday, we will take the reigns back and we are so ready to welcome each and everyone of you back to school.
Thinking ahead to next week, we will return to our individual class dojo pages.
We will continue to use the green gate for drop off/pick up. Our day will continue to begin at 8.40am and finish at 3.00pm. When picking up please adhere to the social distancing guidelines just like before.
On PE days the children will come to school in their PE kits for the full day. Giraffe Class have PE on a Tuesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor).
If you have any work completed that we haven’t responded to then please bring this in with your child on Monday. This will most likely be those of you who completed paper packs as I appreciate the majority of you submitted your work online via dojo.
Please make sure you have also read Mrs Houseman’s update on the school website - https://www.dovedaleprimaryschool.co.uk/news/detail/update-9/
Have a lovely weekend all!
