Each week we will focus on a different country, and this week we are learning about Brazil.
It might be useful to make the first Geography lesson the first activity you do. This involves locating Brazil on a map and thinking about it's proximity to us. Hopefully you will either have your map from last week that you can use, or you have something at home to help with this activity. The maps from last week are below if you need them again.
When you have done this have a look at the Brazil flag and have a go at drawing one yourself.
The Amazon Rainforest is under threat. Use the information from the reading comprehension to make a poster to raise awareness of this problem (see separate notes).
Noun Phrases and Compound Nouns(B). A paper copy is also included below if needed.
Descriptive Writing – Watch this video about the Rio carnival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-03w8JF8bg Then choose one of the Carnival photos and describe what you can see (see separate notes).
This week we have included some Multiplication and Division revision lessons. Knowledge organisers are attached to help support these activities. We have also included some multiplication and division questions from previous SATs papers. Feel free to use the organisers for this activity also if they are needed, or alternatively you may wish to see how well your child can answer the questions unsupported.
